I'd love to see us get out here with a draw. They've been the far better team over these first two tests so would be pretty fortunate to head to Perf 0-0.

Even with a draw here, which seems unlikely unless it gets rained out, the Aussies don't look capable of winning a raffle let alone the Perth test...

True but still 0-0 would be better than 1-0 down which was my point.

I'd actually feel slightly embarrassed to be level going to Perth, we've been totally outplayed for all bar one day of the series so far, cricket's a cruel game at times.

Altough they look the more capable of doing it, I haven't seen the Poms take 20 wickets in either of the first 2 tests either!!! ;)

If this Test is rained out, I believe Australia will win back the Ashes. England batsman have all made mountain of runs for no result. Broad looks like he has done his grunter muscle and will miss the remaining tests. Just need to get abit of luck hold our catches and you never know.

Our leading wicket taker for the series will end up with 10 if we're lucky at an average of just under a thousand.

Even if Broad is out, they still have some reasonable backup bowlers in the squad.

Funnily enough I tend to agree, if somehow we get out of this game I reckon it will have an affect on the english side, Perth is a different kettle of fish, if Harris is fit and its a quick pitch he will cause them alot of grief, wont see the likes of Cook and Trott getting comfortable on the front foot, KP does worry me now, he could be capable of anything,

BUT

Lets fight this test out before we start talking Perth any further

I got asked an interesting question from someone who isn't a real avid follower of the game:

Would the Australian Cricket team practice running between the wickets with each other, they don't seem to be real good at it and quite often they turn blindly. :-k
There is no excuse for a run out in a test match.

I hope you can shake the tree where that strike bowler is hiding because if not we are on a hiding to nothing.
