214 Tendulkar
235* Cook

In fact Australia have conceeded only back to back 200s once..Hammond scored 251, 200 in 1928

6th - SM Katich - 6th player in Test cricket to score a Diamond duck, the last Taufeeq Umar v Aus in Sharjah Oct 2002.

The Pakistan v Australia test 11 & 12 Oct 2002 has other interesting points

- It was over in 2 days, only the 17th time in 1616 test matches this had happened
- Pakistan scored there lowest score of 59 in the 1st innings, a record that lasted ONE day..they scored 53 in the 2nd innings
- Matthew Hayden scored 119, only the 5th time a player has outscored the entire opposition

Brilliant work in this thread Broderik. Is there any recorded instance in test cricket where a side has scored 5/1000 over cosequetive tests? I can't recall anything like the current run glut.

•England haven't lost a one-day series since being beaten 6-1 by Australia after the 2009 Ashes. In that time they've beaten South Africa, Bangladesh (twice), Australia and Pakistan.
•The two teams have met 20 times at the MCG with Australia ahead 13-6 with one abandonment, although the most recent fixture was a win for England in 2007 when they took a 1-0 lead in CB Series finals.
•Andrew Strauss scored 806 runs at 57.57 from 14 matches in 2010
•In the last series between the two teams Shaun Tait returned for the last three matches and took eight wickets at 12.37.

•Raina has just one half-century from the last 17 ODIs. It's not his longest barren patch, though. From April 2006 to June 2008, he went through 19 innings without a fifty.
•de Villiers' 76 was the highest ODI score by a South African wicketkeeper against India. The previous best was Mark Boucher's 68 in 2000.
•de Villiers also became the 10th South African batsman to tally more than 500 ODI runs against India.
•Tendulkar is set to join Sanath Jayasuriya as most capped ODI players (444 games). However, he is set to become the cricketer who has played the most ODI innings. This will be his 433rd innings, and he will go past Jayasuriya who played 432 innings.

I'm watching Chris Martin bowling to get his 200th wicket today, and they keep talking about his woeful batting.

Is his the worst average (batting) 104 runs at 2.47 in Test history (qualify with say 25 Tests)?

Or is there a bigger bunny out there?
