Pretty much. Cook, Trott, and then Pietersen really did bat well and their bats looked about a metre wide at times. I thought Harris and Bollinger (early) bowled quite well, Siddle was Siddle, plenty of short stuff, Doherty bowled tight for a few overs without penetration, and then the Poms decided they could play shots against him with little risk. It wasa tough day at the office for the Aussies, but we musn't lose sight of the fact the Poms batted better, much better, than we bowled.

Just on the bowlers. Yesterday they showed a graph depicting the number of times James Anderson was grouping deliveries on an imaginary line 6 metres from the batsman's crease. Without seeing similar depictions from today, I think it's safe to say none of the Aussie bowlers reached anywhere near the consistent length of Anderson. Some very undisciplined bowling today.

Dont know about that. Would be fairly rare in adelaide to rain 3 days solidly. I would expect at least a couple of hours of play each day. If england can get to 250 infront they will bowl us out again in a couple of sessions. We are mentally fragile

Appears very heavy rain scheduled to arrive around 3pm today. Hopefully the Aussies can make some huge in roads this morning in this humidity and with the new ball
