...the cute little mini machine that's just gone past...imagine one of those mini JCB diggers you can hire but with a tiny snow plough on the front and a little gritter on the back...just for clearing the pavement.

Some days I really like our council...good on ya lads...just a shame that those who think pavements are car parks are making his job so much more difficult...you've all got driveways...use them you morons then you wouldn't also force people with small children and pushchairs to walk out into the road to get past.

The off-duty copper who risked his life to save this idiot drunk in Spain...

Spanish police have released CCTV footage showing an off-duty policeman rescuing a man who fell onto the tracks at a metro station in Madrid.

The newspaper El Pais reported the 41-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol and lost his balance on the platform of Puerta del Angel station.

Passengers on the platform are seen screaming and waving their arms to alert the driver.

The police officer is seen walking onto the tracks and pulling the man away before the train can hit him.

KI rocks. Talk about one of the undiscovered secrets of South Australia. Went to Penneshaw once and there was this pub with a great view of the Investigator (?) Strait. My geography and memory might be a bit out of whack because it was so long ago but Whattaplace indeed.
