Hmm, had some of the worst (and most expensive) beats in the last month or so I've had in all my time of playing Poker .. Tough at the time, but Im alright with the fact that over the course of time you play the percentages and finish better off.

Being taken for granted by someone who just expected me to be available tomorrow without bothering to ask. Even though I had no plans I said no on principle. Ask me next time mate!

This will make LM laugh:

Mel's been encouraging me to go to the Test as a bit of a stress breaker.
But...I can't because I've had to work here the extra two days as one of our journos is having a boys trip with some mates.
Anyway, I get a phone call from the brother in law this morning, "are you able to come to the cricket today? I've got a ticket spare."
"No mate, I can't, because Brad's got the day off today and I need to be here."
Silence on the end of the line...
"Oh yeah."
It was my brother in law that organised the boys weekend for Brad!

Thanks very much brother in law.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Good work, when in doubt, bring out a poo joke. Especially a poo with no brakes one.
