I'm just glad he is finally at a club where he is appreciated and respected. I reckon for what he has done in the game he deserves that. The carry on from some eagles supporters on this matter is an embarassent for their wider Club, most of whom I'm sure don't subscribe to the continued attacks.

They stopped attacking after half time. Either on specific instruction from Godden or he was unable to get a message through to his players to go forwards with the ball. Whichever, he's still culpable for the loss.

When Fuller was in charge of the Eagles I always used to fear games against them but not any more.

Funny Trevor Hill beat Ron Fuller by 10 goals his last year at the parade then got sacked !! Walker had a lot to do with it do u remember him playing for your side. Eagles under fuller could not stop Walker.
Were u fearing the eagles that day !!!

Eagles did stop attacking they had no fit tall forwards .Grocke had ripped open the webbing on his hand he had it wrapped up twice the size and it kept bleeding
No Grocke means no leading forward at the eagles in 2010!!

And sitting in the outer at footy park the first half all we heard from the legs fans were complaints about their team .Mind u many had only started going in 2010 from what they were saying.

I think u may well fear the Eagle in 2011 a side with Chris Hall, Aaron Kite just to name two recruits ( hall returning). Is a different Eagles than 2010 and Parry fit and doing the full pre season.

Yep, fear the eagles in 2011.

If it doesn't work out, you could always give up.

He got them at Woodville as well when they were a club. They were one of two clubs who gave up when it got tough.

We don't do that.

Will they all be Ins come March/April?? No dis-respect intended to North or any of those players but all clubs have lots of "Ins" at this time but none of them actually become Ins

Do North have another Grocke that they can give to us in exchange for a red-headed ruckman?

That post is just utter nonsense, perhaps apart from the paragraph about Grocke and 2010!

Post commences concentrating on the past and ceases with 'Forget the Past'

I'm one eyed about my club, often evidenced by my posts. I generally read what supporters from other clubs have to say, agree or disagree, but what I've seen over the past few pages from your club, I think I'm going to check who the poster supports before reading their posts in future.

A majority of what has been posted from supporters on this thread is bordering on excrement!

Prelim Final ????? Supporting that year? Well the amount of your lot who were there on the day, it wouldn't have been hard for you to encounter a few Norwood supporters, because there were none of yours!

Aaron Kite and Chris Hall = Boom recruits. :?

And Parry's had more clubs than Greg Norman.

God I hope we're only playing you twice next year, and it isn't because I'm afraid of playing you. You're an abhorrent twisted mob!

One more thing!

Norwood beat the Eagles at Woodville by 10-12 goals on the June long weekend 2009, I remember, someone rang to inform me as I was in Melbourne. I apologise, perhaps I have no life for remembering that Saturday afternoon.

Funny thing is, the reason I was in Melbourne that weekend, was to see Adelaide play Essendon at Docklands, entertaining shootout, reckon Adelaide kicked over 20 goals and not many behinds, mmmm Taylor Walker definitely played in that side, so um, don't think he was at Woodville the previous day, perhaps the Ghost of Taylors past kicked a bag that day!
