atm SMOSH have as far as Im aware these applicants

- Tom Nicholls
- Mick Tomeo
- Marc Cox (only available till round 4)
- ex B grade coach that was given the flick the other year. (colonel?)
- Sods (B grade coach of GAZA)

Throw in the hodges/Hosie combination,
heard there looking for a new home :D

Just heard from a very reliable source that Tom Nicholls was absolutely outstanding in his interview last night. His rigorous powerpoint presentation on where he wanted the club to go in 2011 and beyond was extremely successful and the panel was holding on to every word. He is going to get offered the job within hours. Congratulations Tom Nicholls, well deserved!!!!

There wasn't anyone that claimed their club as their own that posted anything on the Div 4 thread this year. If that continues, then you need other sources to hear anything about them...

Gee if you blokes ran the club, the club would run at a huge loss, ( unpaid cartons of beer, unpaid subs, damage to club while on the p!ss ) were a few things you & your mates achievments in 2010, expecting everything for nothing is one thing, paying your way is another.( the club would be closed down in 4 years )
Times are tough yes, atleast i can say i supported the club in every way, my wife included, don't know where the club would be if it wasn't for us, how about no.1- the club has a couple of great sponsors tied up for 3 years, no.2- all the social events, incl Miss Seaton Rams, yes the one you have tried to take all the wraps for  no.3- all the grog bought, picked up & delivered to the club, i can keep going if you like. no.4- Don't forget the coaching of 2 grades, alot of work involved at Seaton aint their "InTheChair"?
As far as cancerous players & sooks are concerned, they were told where they sit, they reacted just like you, didn't take "honest criticism to well"
Some went down to B grade, while some left to other clubs & put their tails between their legs.
I completed my committments for 2010 & can honestly say you & a few others were the biggest sooks i've ever been associated with in football, i'm over the backstabbing, underminding & whinging you all created & can leave knowing i put a hell of alot of time in to the club, the club was rewarded $$$ but was let down severely on the field once again by players like you who always look for someone else to blame for for their falures.
Look forward to catching up!

Once again you have blamed the wrong bloke i havent changed my identity.[/quote]

Once again
I never mentioned you, you must be feeling some guilt, i can understand why.

Guilt we should feel no guilt. Newman should feel no guilt. You should be the one who feels the guilt and i bet you do mate. It eats away at you and thats why you get so worked up. Your unbelieveable. All the talk about sticking around through thick and thin and all the crap about team unitey what a load of bullocks and i stood there and listened to it all year. At the time i thought my ears were bleeding but chose to ignore it for the good of the club. And even my teammates commented about the blood dripping on the ground asking what was that and i said nothing. I should have spoken up and told them what a crock of lies you were spinning. We all knew deep down this would would happen even the big man himself admits it behind your back.

The players at Seaton have blood on their hands as far as im concerned. To blame the coach for their somewhat dissapointing year is discraceful. Hodges is a proven match winning coach and thats why the club wheel him back in when things need improvement. The selfishness of a core group of players is something the club has been immune to for a long period of time and its sad to see the cancer spreading.
I wish the club all the best for next year but honestly feel the club has a huge hole to fill without the guidance of Hodges and unless the players are willing to play for the club and not what the club gives them, it could be all down hill from here.

Just my opinion.

heard Smosh interviewed Luke Stubings last night for the Head Coaching role, heard they were extremely impressed with what he put on the table.

apparently they are also interviewing a current B grader at the club in the coming week who has promised the services of W Tredrea if he is to get the Job,

Probably can't get a word in over the portland and Smosh people

Not much to report probably, B grade coach has taken over i think and no training scheduled that i've heard of. A getv together is on the cards soon.
Really , do amatuer league clubs need to match AFL and SANFL training schedules. Start training in January, players will be keener, fresher and should be able to do enough to be ready for round 1 and still fresh enough come finals time. All the work you do before christmas is usually undone by the christmas break anyway.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....
