Also, will Adam Carey be making a return to the Falcons next year?

yeah dalby's gone, everytime you lose a bloke who's kicked 80 goals a year for two years it will be a loss. we're pretty confident we can cover him though just need a few more contributors in the forward line.

im still keeping my fingers crossed about adam "king" carey, last time i spoke to him he still wasn't sure.

ohhh dalby he wont do anything for flagstaff.... maybe come up $150 richer like he did on grand final day!..... ouch hahaha King carey prob wont play at all, but saying that he will prob go around at colonel light again.

HUGE burn on dalby, everyone at flaggies would maybe not want to leave their wallets unattended :P

Before I left Oz, I chatted with about him training with Gullies at their pre-Xmas training sessions for a head-start on fitness. Not sure what has eventuated since then, but I seriously doubt there would have been a 'falling out'.

I personally have played against both Sid and Mark Boothey from Pailowie and although they are outstanding players, you all surely must realise Division 1 football is a totally different ball game. Its one thing the promote them and encourage them but there is 'alot' of hard work ahead for both these lads.

Sid was playing A grade for Brighton as a 18 or 19 year old. Div 3 would be a step down from that for him, and yet he's 5 years older. Dont think anyone on here is saying they will be superstars but both would hold there own no problems in my opinion. Again time will tell and its just my opinion.

Is he at GG, because of an altercation between he and Brett Whales at a Houghton function?

Wouldn't know.

I'd say he'd been thinking about trying his luck at a higher division for a while though.

Whats his backgraound 9? It was rumoured to me that he didnt come cheap, but I would have no idea as Im not involved with the club. Just what I heard. Lets hope he can turn them around some what from last season

Farin coached Glandore to a Div 5 premiership a few years back i think.... or could of been div 6. Could possibly attract a few decent Aboriginal players to Paralowie as is very well respected in the community and knows alot of the boys that are currently playing

Unfortunately yes a lot of gully boys have left the club. Hoping for some decent recruits and some of the young kids to step up next season.

Not much happening on here lately just a recap from my point of view.

Black Friars - No ins or outs to report on so should have similar side to last year which will put them at the top end of the ladder.

Central United - May have strengthened a bit but will need to in order to improve on their last effort in this division.

CLG - Have lost one of their better players Visser to FP but not much else on player movement

Houghton Districts - Maybe have lost a few players but no key players but will have a similar team to last year

Kenilworth - Have been recruiting, mostly from Southern League? Should be looking for a big year I reckon.

North Haven - A couple of past players have returned to help the club out into fourth week of training should see an improvement on the last two seasons.

Paralowie - New coach Wanganeen will be bringing out quite a few new players apparently, most likely past players from the Kaurna Eagles who had a couple very good years. Could be a big mover next season.

Trinity - Haven't heard much, but if the team is the same as last years they will be looking for promotion.

Not sure if anyone else besides North Haven have started training???
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Black Friars - No ins or outs to report on so should have similar side to last year which will put them at the top end of the ladder. <-- quiet achievers back a grade, probable finalist

Central United - May have strengthened a bit but will need to in order to improve on their last effort in this division. <-- probably need some more height, will be nuisance value

CLG - Have lost one of their better players Visser to FP but not much else on player movement <-- shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, finalist :)

Houghton Districts - Maybe have lost a few players but no key players but will have a similar team to last year <-- liam davis is playing?..kuhar maybe gone?

Kenilworth - Have been recruiting, mostly from Southern League? Should be looking for a big year I reckon. <--unbackable B grade favorites..will go back to back..most hackahm SFL recruits will play B grade you would think but there are 2-3 others as well i believe..finalist

North Haven - A couple of past players have returned to help the club out into fourth week of training should see an improvement on the last two seasons. <-- thats what we hear, must play deep finals or its a failed year, finalist

Paralowie - New coach Wanganeen will be bringing out quite a few new players apparently, most likely past players from the Kaurna Eagles who had a couple very good years. Could be a big mover next season. <-- very unknown quantity..could get worse not better

Trinity - Haven't heard much, but if the team is the same as last years they will be looking for promotion. <-- same team as last year is good enough to get to a GF, finalist

central united are in their fourth week of training and have had very good numbers on the track, may only lose 2-3 players but have already seen a number of new faces at training. by the amount of running theyr'e doing will be at least very fit.

good to hear central united will be stronger than their last foray into div 6. got me thinking will there be a SOLID bottom two sides like there has been the last two years with glenunga and CU in 09 and mitchell park and to a lesser extent ingle farm in 10. would be good for the comp if there is a general eveness between all sides
