I think Thompson wins race 6 and should go close in race 8, and can score points in race 7 also

Henry on the 2nd fav in race 6 needs to either run 2nd to Thompson or ideally win the race and have him run 4th. Has a ride in race 7, not sure about points though, no ride in race 8

The main danger in race 8 to thompson is 2 - for pettigrew - which could assist Henry, who needs the next 2 races

from what I can see with Henry is she basically looks Home from here

I cant see how the others are going to catch her

Henry can't be beaten.

Can be tied by Reith if he wins on his remaining ride.
Thompson needs to win last two to tie.

I can't see anyone else mathematically capable of beating Henry.

with Reith being the only danger to halving the result whats the state of play in terms of insurance punting

he is 2nd fav at the moment - none of the tipsters on tabonline have him in their top 4

I guess the race comes down if Reith wins, Henry needs to place but im struggling to see Reiths horse winning

I'll have a few dollars on Reith's as insurance.

Nothing too big though, half a div is still going to be alright.

basically Henry can seal the deal right now and not have to worry about race 8

I'll see how R7 pans out. If I have to back Thompson's ride in the last i'll do that.

Thompson's R7 ride is less than $3.50 at the moment, and his ride in the last should be more than $5, so makes sense to wait til the last.

Hopefully Thompson misses, and/or Henry scores.

Henry's mount is the likely leader and cna hopefully hold on for something.
