I just bring all the breaking news :P

Any truth to the rumor that Matthew "Mr Mircalous" Laird is plotting a conspiracy to overthrow the current A grade skipper and claim the top job and glory for himself? SO selfish

Might be funny but surely couldn't do any worse?

Yeah, they've already got some little wombat bowling left arm over there at the minute. I hear he wouldn't be on 6th or 7th change if he wasn't the captain.

:D no way to talk about Russell Figallo the A grade captain mate!

Nah, I'm referring to the B Grade skipper at R&C. Stubby, flat-nosed womble. Bowls left arm tripe and comes on to bowl when the lepers are in. You know him well. ;)

Yeah, even Pidge owns his innocuous donkey-droppers, and we've only just taught him which end of the bat to hold.. ;)

1/2 WAY SEASON REPORT CARD

Div 1 is a runaway between the two top teams, though they have been proven to be beatable as witnessed last round. Rose Parks, Lutherans and Fitzies fighting it out for the top four. Season has been notable for some big runs so far, with dave loshel, smasha, jon smith, hoddo, and cougar all making a shipload. I can see the top run getter needing 500 to win the batting trophy this year. As for bowling, well bowlers are idiots, batting is where its at.

Now for the half way awards. Most handsome player is me again, sorry lads. Biggest bastard act so far is Vi$ta screwing us over by losing to lutherans whilst we do them a favour and beat NEK. Best action moment was Pidge bowling hutchy...ahem i mean richie. Most emotional moment was Auto finally getting a well deserved bowl after striving in the shadows of lesser bowlers for fifteen years. Most fulfilling moment of the season was versus Vi$ta at tea when we had pizzas, cake, lollies, sausages, doughnuts and chips. Most erotic moment was......ill let hutchy talk about that. And finally the iron stomach award goes to Tommy K for his ability to gulp down 3L of hot iced coffee and keep it down.

How could i forget....the most Anti-climactic moment was........

Auto's war on terror. Even tho the crowds wanted it. Unfortunately the guys at CERN thought that bowling the typhoon might cause a black hole to appear and end humanity as we know it. So sorry about that lads....

Still think it should be an association by-law that you can not have a BBQ cooking while the game is in progress. Sitting there padded up while BBQ kicked in was cruel and inhuman.

As for a drink post game Auto , Spintwin and myself and a few others had intended to but when we finished early thought it best to head to our B grade game. We arrived just in time to see the last couple of wickets. Our motivation was to get Pidge to state on this forum something along the lines of ‘ I had a drink with the Vi$ta boys and they seem like a good bunch of blokes. Every other club has felt the love but Vi$ta.......Ok he would have to lie but still......

To give the team trying to chase down my personal innings total a fair chance... :p

NFI mate. I'm assuming that like a lot of old Carnivals, there were no over restrictions. Or maybe back in the day of uncovered pitches, they used to rock'n roll sides in 20 overs?? :? Ask Tige, he played with Fred Spofforth and Victor Trumper.. ;)

SPASTIC!!!

I say let him have it, then people can get on here and laugh and abuse him for leading a side to massive losses each week! I still cant believe he is the B grade captain at EUCCC, someone must have rocks in their heads to allow that! The bloke cant even play the game FFS
