I am still yet to hear where cockers is off too. He was runner for GG in there final series this year so i would've thought he was off to there but sounds as though the decision is yet to be made.

OK, really kinda sick of reading about Cochers over the last 5 pages!!
He re-signed with the Gulies weeks ago and hasn't missed a pre-season training yet. Top bloke, great player.
Play on!! ;)

IO he might be a really good kid i would have no idea but i can tell you honestly he is selling himself like you wouldn't believe. If he is staying at the gulles all the best to him. However he should tell the many clubs he is talking to that. It's not that hard. Boosting your ego is onr thing being dishonest is another.

i think people just have to realise these days that the money being thrown around is too much to ignore.
with the price of buying a house these days an extra $500 a week could take years off a home loan.
how can young players like cochrane not think about chasing money.

The end of the day 99% of people who complain about players chasing coin are not good enough to get cash them selves.
I would never bash a bloke for chasing coin as if you don't look after yourself then no one else will do it for you.
its almost a primary school argument in a poor society where people bag someone for being rich.

Hows Eastern Parks recruiting going?

Have just read that Hamilton is off to Nuri and i believe Miller and a efw other players are having a crack at league clubs..... Hamilton and Miller were a big part of EP's success and would need to cover them and add 3-4 to be competitive in Div 1 IMO.

heard there is at least a handfull of players leaving / retiring which would put pressure on the club to be consistently competative.
they have a very good junior programm there with a lot of talented kids coming through and would think Dusty will get the best out of them.
if they can be competitive and stay up, which i reckon they can, the club will get stronger.
heard a couple of names being bantered around about coming to the club and a couple would be big in's for the club.
p.s
dont ask for the names i have been told about that could be leaving/retiring/arriving.

Great bloke and very fit, but not naturally blessed with talent. A tagging role could be an option?

Good luck to Ben Weekley from Mitchell Park who is going to have a crack at Div 1 footy with PHOS Camden.

Ben is a very talented footballer, Best and Fairest winner many times over and an even better bloke. Really hope he makes it even if it is to our detriment.

For the PHOS lads his nickname is either "Princess" or "Cue-Ball".
