LOL wouldn't expect anything less than this kind of response.....thing is if we had reacted to any of the things that had happened it would of been on for young and old! And your side would of been whinging blaming us for it all. Just cuz you got a bit of a shock that your competition isn't as far ahead of ours as you think!
At the end of the day it was a great game seen by all, the way i see it is we went home with our heads high....

Except the fellow that was a few metres over the boundary ;)

As for being thin skinned, we had a bottle thrown at a player and then told the next one is coming at his head, not to mention the guy holding a baby telling the fielder he's going to stab him in the back! Cricket's not a gentlemans game in the para districts!
:(

I don't believe you. We played against them last season at Salisbury West and copped a fair bit of crap as we were getting beat. I couldn't see any of their players hip & shouldering outgoing batsmen or throwing stumps, sure they get a few drunken banana's carrying on a bit over the top but the rest of your allegations I just couldn't see happening.

well i'm sorry but i saw it with my own two eyes. Believe that the umpire will put a report in. not that anything will happen.
I'm the first to admit he's not the best, but no one deserves that.

To be honest, if it was thrown at him, it would've been pinged. Not underarmed in his direction and falling half way short between the stumps and the umpire. Should not have happened, but its a mountain out of a mole hill now...

Probably time to drop the 'he said, she said' stuff guys.. It's petty and is really taking away from what was obviously a cracking T20 semi final, and regardless of what was said or done, it's over and done with now. Time to move on hey? Throwing barbs at each other isn't gonna change a thing. ;)

We've got a SAMCA match coming up between the 2 Associations on 12/12 and as always, I'll expect both sides will go hard on the day, but once it's over, whatever's done or said out in the middle stays there and we'll have a frothy or two afterwards. And that's the way it should be!

@ LMcQ - Para Vista has played several matches against Salisbury West in the past - and those matches were a fair bit longer than 20 overs per side - and I don't need to tell you who prevailed when it mattered most. :p ;)

its a pity caus it was a fantastic game to be involved in. Those SW guys sure can bat. It was refreshing to see such good stroke play. Who plays straight on a hard wicket? ;)
Were looking forward to a beer and a snag after the game but didnt hang around, would have got ugly.
real looser is the social club, we would have spent some $$ there....

rooster , umpired the game well well well, now I must admit he is a good bloke but bloody hell mate, I have thrown a ball at him full pelt and hit him in the leg (just below the jewels) sorry roost, by accident of course and the man aint gunna be fased by a stump landing near him...... and he can talk under water when you bat and bowl . good bloke average umpire imo.
