well done to catchit and his crew far too good and they now move to outright premiership favourites - bit hard to play the underdog card now big fella ;)

Looks like still a lot of work to do for The Lodge boys - perhaps a reality check, not always a bad thing - gotta try and find something positive

It was a great win by rosies and was not expecting to roll you blokes twice, i have no problem being the favourites for the flag, but as we all no anything can happen in march, and that will be enough for us not to get carried away with our mid year results ;) .... As for the positives i am sure the no hats won the soccer game on saturday? ;)

I am hearing that the field restrictions wont be in place till next year? Can anyone explain why? And then explain how it will be different next year?

It sounded like it was going ahead from a conversation I had with Peter Clarkson on friday afternoon unless there was a hiccup since then. Pretty sure they were meeting yesterday to discuss it in full, I'm sure you've heard from a reliable source though.

Spoke to alf on sat and he recieved a phone call from bob saying that he was not keen, alf also was against it only because it was to hard to police.. After a quick chat with russel today he said there was a few reasons for it not to go ahead..not sure why yet though..

We got bowled out for 114 chasing 186, PG were 2/56 in the 2nd dig. The Gardens bowled well, we batted poorly, the humid conditions saw the ball move around a fair bit and the morning rain made the boundary seem a kilometre away.
At the end of the day our batsmen lacked patience and respect. Still, the poor umpiring on week one cost us 100 runs, the Garden boys had a good laugh about it, they stuck around for beer after the game.
