Probably cost me $30 or $40 based on last year so if I train could be pretty cheap. Doubt it will cost me much looking at todays youth

Nice work Backliner, always good to give the boys some incentive :)
Hope for the Shark's sake they take the bait and put in some work .... wouldn't it be great if it costs you a couple of hundred or more ?!?!?!?!

What time trial are you referring to Backliner? 3km or beep test? I remember you being somewhere ahead of the middle pack last year. They're fairly pacey some of those young fellas, might be an expensive bet. Maybe you should have said everyone that you beat needs to give you $10 each to break even.

Time trial. Good incentive for me now, happy to make a donation for being beaten, in writing now. Dont know training dates yet. Might make me and a few others work harder. Probably be middle of the field again but hopefully the ones in front earn the spot ;) , spice it up a bit

Sounds exciting with a number of recruits signed does it cover the loss of Carlisle Barnes and Hunt or does it even itself out

carlisle only played a few games, off the top of my head woulda been around 6ish, but could be wrong. yes, he will be missed (on and off the field,as he's also a top bloke), but it's not as though he has/was featured in our long term plans.

losing Hunt id disapointing, although many people questioned his efforts on more than 1 occasion last year.

rigz is probably our biggest loss, and hurts that little bit more to know that he's still in our league and we'll have to meet him at some point. was BnF last season, and is one of the last blokes to have come through the junior ranks all through and onto A Grade level. but, that's football. and if we improve as planned, would welcome rigz back to the club with open arms.

in terms of what we've recruited, in my opinion, we've more than covered our losses. i've only seen a couple of our recruits firsthand, and the rest i'm going on heresay and reputation, but there is a genuine feeling of exitement around the club, and looking forward to kicking off preseason Jan 10.

Carlisle has headed out to Kaniva, Barnes to Noarlunga and i assume Scotty Hunt has fled to Myponga.

Not surprising Rigby has ended up at the $hoe. He was sniffing around Reynella last year and again this year but was told he would not be paid anything but standard match payments. He obviously was not happy with that and has gone to a club always willing to accommodate a player from another SFL club looking for coin

what do you mean by that sledge?

it obviously wouldn't be a first, because you and a bloke close to you have left and been welcomed back. as well as another current A grader and former captain that i can think of off the top of my head. so not too sure of the point you're trying to get across, or if you're jusr trying to stir us Aldingaians up.

and yes Barker, big Dan has been out to our pre-xmas casual runs, and from what i've seen would be a more than handy inclusion.

Good pickup if you can get him. Played with him, and coached him for a season. Mobile, great pair of hands and a good lad to boot.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...
