Are these rumours from the same person who told you that Eagleton was going to Uris ?

Yes Gervais, it was..

Regardless of what they are playing it's still a loss to the club having 4-6 solid B graders leaving. Especially when your club finished 9th in B grade and 8th in the A's.

Should of been relegated ;)

I believe this rumor is true, No real losses, all moderate B graders bar Beverlander

If it is true that 14 players (as i think was quoted earlier) are leaving, how can that be no real loss? (whether they be A or B graders)

Bridgewater doesn't have depth as it is.

No real loss because it not anywhere near 14, its around 5-6 and 5 would be B graders and 1 would be beverlander.
a couple of last years recruits who would have been ok B graders have also been moved on.

did any of those B graders play A's? Yes but only maybe 1 or 2 matches for the season.

Should Bridgewater be relegated no, every juniour grade made finals, 2 teams made the prelim final. I admit senior footy is way below par but it would be bad for the competition to lose these juniors to country division programing and standards.

and finally the reason this 14-20 number has been thrown around is because some people at the club can only be negative and like to make rumors and storys because sometimes it makes them feel better to on one hand support the club when they are winning the Cutting Cup but then on the other hand when things get tough they are sitting up the back saying I told you so and sticking the knife in.

Love my club, and the sucess when it comes in the future will be even sweeter for those how stayed though the hard times.

Hotstuff, you are kidding yourself if you think it's only 5 or 6! If Beav is the only one you rate from your club, why hasn't he gone any further? There are a few, that come to mind, that are a lot better than Beav and have the resume to prove it! You really need to pull your head out and get in the real world! We are going to struggle big time next season!

The reason no-one wants to come back to bridgie year after year is because there are people in the club that never make them feel welcome. Too much back stabbing going on and until we get rid of the majority of that, the club will be in the same position they are in now! Staring down the barrel!

All the names I definatly KNOW of beaver is the best one, all the rest are just rumors untill proven, most of the good recruits we want are staying. Im willing to be wrong later but at the moment all the ones we know for sure beaver is the best one.

Improvement in Bridgewater isn't gonna come just from bringing in people from outside every year its gonna come from game plan and education of the players we already have. Now you might say im wrong but I have been at the club long enough to know spending all the money we do to get people in from outside isn't working. yes there does need to be recruiting but the most improvement will come from bridgewater locals. Most years its not recruits not living up to potential its the locals! this is mainly because of lack of finals expirence ,losing culture, lack of game plan understanding, lack of fitness, different game plans between juniors B's and A's and in some games combinations of different game plans because some players think they know better than the coach.

All these things are being adressed this year so im sorry for not feeling as negative as you are.....

Mate, it's not about being negative, it's just that we hear the same shite every year! i really hope when can improve but it just isn't going to happen if we lose all these players! The club has for too long let individual opinion overall logical thinking and it seems to be the same thing happening this year! All who-ha for no result!

TIS, why not wait until Feb and see who's around and who isn't. you will learn a lot about who wants to play for the club and who just wants coin.

once the club made the decicion get rid of shane lynch - which was a good decision - it was natural that the majority of the players he brought with him would also go. from what i saw in 2010, i have no problems with these guys leaving. most were here just to take the cash anyway and gave nothing on the field.

not sure who the "one individual opinion is" and who "doesn't make people feel welcome". i think that over the two years everyone involved in running the club is new.

Believe me in some ways I agree, every year all the hype is mainly about Bridgewater and never comes true. This has been the case for the last 5-6 years, But I honestly believe its not far from change having kids coming up like Jonty Schultz, Ben Ross (2nd in Mail Medal), Shawn Macdonald (3rd in Mail Medal) and Jo Tarca.

and people like Ben Pohl, Steve & Hayden Smith, Sam & Tom Hutton, Dave Thomson can improve greatly from the new coach

For Bridgewaters sake I hope im right.

Yeah, i heard pohl to Lofty. Don't know the guy at all, just recognise the name.
Lofty also have a new ruckman that is apparently a unit, massive, SORELY needed. Apprently Coco was even quoted as saying "he has bigger hands than me".
Well done (but a loss for the club) to Mad Dog for getting the Echunga job, good luck with a genuine flag-chance squad.
B Dawes to coach the Super B's.
Still on the trail of some recruits but no names given.
Chuck Norris makes onions cry
