I think I heard the date to be Saturday 2nd April 2011, but I could be wrong.

Have my doubts about Lucus Herbert playing next season, a good supporter round the club but would struggle to get back to A-grade form. Like most clubs around the state and in response to the point restrictions being imposed on all competitions, Blackwood's putting a lot of it's focus in to bringing back former juniors to the club such as Dundovic who incure 0 points.
Don't expect to see too much of an impact from Roche, Gigney and McCormick next season. Roche and Gigs are still on the recovery trail and work commitments will cut down McCormicks playing opportunities, but do expect to see all 3 round the club next year and on the field.

is padroth gone ?? mail says back to cove . have blackwood signed anyone yet ?
Interesting that Torren$ valley apparently chasing a few from echunga inc. last years b and f for around the same as fisher is rumoured to be getting from mt ronnie this season ($1200) a game this to me is crazy coin for a div 2 player to be offered the same as a guy who was a b and f at a league club just 2 years ago

Apart from Dundovic and a couple other lads who played juniors with Blackwood years ago coming back to the club, Blackwood are in talks with a few other players and plan to have their list sorted in the next couple weeks.
One rumour is that Jake Bowen and Nick Wark from Sturt are considering moving back up the hill, feeling a bit disillusioned from their time at Sturt. However, rumour has it Bowen is being offered ridiculously huge money from clubs in the south east.

From what i was told, One of the boys wanted to coach and bridgie didn't want him! Can't say it's 100% true but did come from a life member at the raiders! Do know they were both very keen to finish their careers at Spark Park! (The Fortress)

Have heard Nelson is coaching Scotch's first 18 which would mean missing a fair bit of the season. Think Weatherald has the same job at PAC.

If Bridgy didn't want him that would be an absolute joke. I hope they have at least been called and offered something.

on another note would love to see devries back even if he gets paid a big bag of cash per game.

Still hearing rumours of mass walkouts at "The fortress". Vaughan, if that is your real name, care to comment?

Apparently he is good mates with a few of the local lads, namely Aaron 'cartso' Carter who played state 18s with the former Bulldog. If correct, this is a huge signing!

Yes Gervais, it was..

Regardless of what they are playing it's still a loss to the club having 4-6 solid B graders leaving. Especially when your club finished 9th in B grade and 8th in the A's.
