So who is playing B grade that played mostly A's last year?

Also, put Feltus (injured) in and then does Craig miss out? Ellis also signed up at the start so who's spot would have he taken in your opinion catchit?

I will say that all those guys are far too good to be playing B grade - If that ever was the case.

Little richie is playing c grade now and cookie is not playing at all.. we have a young bloke in our side who is prob a bit out of his depth, but having said that we have daniel now so the young fella “ might“ find his way back to b grade where he can develop more so darren prob would of taken his spot maybe.. not sure what will happen when mick gets back, all the bowlers are aware of him returning soon so i guess it wiil be a wait and see situation, but imo yes craig would prob miss out... I can assure you everyone is excited around the club ATM and if people are fighting for there spots it can sometimes bring the best out of everyone, craig is taking wickets and made some handy runs on sat so all i can say is good luck russel ;) Rosies wont tolerate people spitting the dummy cause of what grade they are playing and everyone knows it...

That's the beauty of having a decent quick, you can have someone come on from the other end and bowl stump to stump, the batsmen will go after him and he'll collect.

Spot on.. Batsmen just try to see jimmy off and all it does is put pressure on them to attack from the other end.. And i am good at counting dot balls ;)

so is that why you didn't take as many wickets as you think you should've 8)
typical bowler ;)

286 @ 11 for Smithfield, I'll take that mate 8) . Had a couple of good seasons at the Gardens and district. I do remember busting my arse in the SACA 16's and we had this other lad Nathan bowling gentle outswingers from the other end, he always cleaned up, it used to drive me nuts.

Is there still an over 35's Vs ATCA game each year?
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Pretty sure ATCA pulled the pin on it, the PDCA ended up having over 35's vs the umpires, now I don't think there's anything. I know Grant Hodder was looking into it last season, nothing eventuated though.

Dont worry ill tell him to not bowl any full tosses against you guys just incase.

There is 7 other clubs to worry about as well.... Or are we talking about your bowling here? ;)

You cant stop the odd ball being a full toss as a spinner, considering he bowled 16 straight i dont think he did too bad at all. The 7 other clubs should worry about his other deliveries not just the full toss. As for my bowling my full tosses will be aimed at your toes.

Got this today mate.

Hi All,
As mentioned at the last delegates meeting, the Exec committee will be discussing (in consultation with the Umpires) the chance of bringing in Fielding Restrictions, for the upcoming One Day matches, for Grade 1 only.
We are proposing a 25 metre arc be drawn from middle stump at both ends off the ground, and that these are joined by a straight line. For the 1st 12 overs of a match only 2 fielders would be allowed outside of the "Fielding Circle". We would appreciate it if all Grade 1 clubs could give us their thoughts on this by Friday, so that we can discuss at our meeting on Sunday. We would like you to give us all your Pro's & Con's. The more input we get, the more chance we have of making an informed decision. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Im not Grade 1 but i think fielding restrictions will only make the game a bit more exciting, especially enticing players to hit over the top. IMO
