Victory through to the GF

Postby Wedgie » Sun Feb 04, 2007 8:28 pm

What a sensational game, I went off when the final goal was scored in the 92nd minute.
Best side definately won.
Victory have only ever played 2 finals for no losses, bit better than Adelaide Choknited's record!
I just hope the Jets get up next week so I don't have to barrack for the Tards again!

Great atmosphere, the Victorian fans were awesome, made it sound like an FA cup final.
Only 2 times I heard the United fans I thought I was listening to a quieter version of the NA Grog Squad.

Victory deserved there win

I thought Adel lost the prelim tie in game 1

similar to last year,

last week at home Adel Utd constantly attacked and had the Victory on the ropes but could not find the back of the net, this week Adel need to produce goals as Newcastle have the ability to score goals

To think with 10 seconds to go Travis Dodd nearly scored.

Can the boys recover after a hard game on a very very very hard surface
against Newcastle next week ?

You go 1 nil up and only required a draw to go through and you lose the game...if the roles were reversed and this was the victory what you all be saying...dont be so one eyed...AU has failed continuously in the finals...FACT...i hope they bounce back and win the lot, it will be a sweet VICTROY - but a facts a fact.
