Keith FC been very active at Strath. Redden returning and taking at least 2 maybe 3 with him.
Names being quoted are Tucker, Simounds and Stringer. Presume they are all A graders ?

Heard the same story on Saturday night re: Redden and Tucker but the other 2 weren't mentioned.

Definately know that mark tucker (a grade premiership player and team of year winger) and tom redden(going back home to keith) are heading there. Haven't heard officially stringer yet. The simmounds mentioned is daniel didn't play this year (full back in 09), he is jumping in the car along with nurse(bgrade creek) and grosvenor(a/b grade creek). Will be interesting if they all play a grade re points rule. I wouldn't be waisting points on the last 3 players mentioned.

My source tells me he has signed with Blackwood. Not a cheap signing, well in excess of $700 a game. Surprised Yank didn't hang onto him for another year.

Do clubs in the GSFL work to a salary cap? If so what is the figure on that? Even though it would likely have no way of being audited!!

Big signing at Encounter Bay for this season former crow and eagles player Ken Mcgregors on board. I hear the lights are almost up and should be the best in league.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

will play a simular role to simon Feast at Langhorne creek, will play close to 10-11 games apparently. A couple more big signings also, will be confirmed on thursday. Good to get a lot of our south boys back also which are 0 points

What do players think of this? I don't think i would have enjoyed having someone waltz in for only a dozen games, qualifies for and plays finals, and trains once a month because he has more important things to do whilst being paid a fortune!

the way the bays travelled last year, i think every player knows we need to recruit, last year we were hurt with the recruiters signing blokes but then they signed on elsewhere before the first of feb.

Of course paying big $ to one player is an issue for any club (well most), but using lots of points on one player that cant play many games is perhaps a bigger problem. Bays have plenty of room in that regard though. How many points will he be? 3 coming from Henley?

Feasty trains every week and is a great supporter of the club at social functions etc. Everyone at the club accepts that he has commitments with Sturt and is comfortable with this.

only allowed 2 though, the 3rd player will attract points provided they are Div 1,2 or 3

Amateurs have now taken on the point system, I know in the Hills it means they now attract points. Is that the same with the GSFL?
