Gayle has moved along to 279. His H.S of 317 looks in danger. I wonder if he will go on and break Lara's record?

Gayle was caught off a no ball.
Prasad to Gayle, no ball, Drama, absolute drama out there!!!! Short delivery on the stumps, kicks up a bit, Gayle closes the face of the bat, the ball takes the outside edge, lobs to short cover where Sanga takes the catch, Prasad is down on the ground with delight, but apparently, Nash called alerted Gayle for a no-ball, after countless replays, it shows that Prasad had overstepped marginally, the umpire signals a no-ball and Gayle survives, the technology debate is all set to continue after this, SL are gutted @ 138.52 kmph Apparently, the West Indies have called for a review. Apparently, it seems to be a no-ball. Nash, at the non-striker's end, alerted Gayle and he has called for the review

And Randiv will be the only 3rd bloke to be hit for 200 twice in an innings! Pity it's as a bowler so not a record you would like..

Gayle 331 with 25 overs left for the day.

WI 9/580 DEC
GAYLE
333 RUNS
437 BALLS
34 X FOURS
9 X SIXES

I quoted how ill SL fill the void of MurALi, I forgot about that wily spinner Ajantha Mendis
A tre MENDIS effort by the SL bowler 6/169[59]
He got 5 wickets bowled or LBW
So far he has done as well as MurALi
tre MENDIS is on the way to taking 300+ Test Wickets
He is the best spinner in the world

Gayle is an amazing batsman
You love to have a video on this innings, it must be one of the most astonshing Test Innings of all time
He has made his runs in the equivalent of about 72 overs
Bearing in mind about 90 overs need to be bowled, if he batted 90 overs at the same rate his score would be about 416 runs in a days cricket

Just imagine watching a Test match if we had Gayle partnering Shewag, and both in demolition mode

SL 1/54

We have already had 2 Test match draws around the world finishing today
Just hope this test does not dwindle into a boring run fest as well

Thank goodness we have a game at the Gabba on November 25
The bowlers have a chance there
