good change up piccachu and well played. when your side is the early premiership favourite deflect the attention from portland and put it on mitcham. good work. sure you can mention some other clubs as well to draw attention away from portland

not sure where you are going with this alice, first use crack the sads that all we do is talk about portland on here then when i bring another club in to the spot light im all of a sudden deflecting attention off of my club, make up your mind mate.

im not trying to play the little smoke screen games, and i wont shy away from the fact that i think we will have a competitive side this year, was just stating that mitcham will also be around the mark yet have not been spocken about at all.

Exactly Piccapoo. as i said in the preseason thread. People pump up a club so early need to have a harder look and think carefully before they speak. No one in their right mind should call the next season's flag when the previous year hasnt even finished yet. P/Hills have made it clear they think they will have a better season than this year, Flinders Park have made the same comments, G/Grove have made thier intentions and thoughts clear in multiple grades and Seaton also made their mark. Deflection, innuendo and and crap bullsh!t stories are part and parcel. Just dont jump in before you test it! Alice you may also need tothink before throwing the stones mate. Mitcham CBC and all sides have a red hot crack at being contenders next year. Mitcham and Portland have been sides taht have certain ups on each other its just the 1 point win for our lads that set us apart. Has been no mention of other clubs yet apart from the ones i just rabbled on about. Play on for all sides next year.

From what i have heard not alot of changing from last years teams.
Obviously talk of players coming but thats talk nothing else as of yet. I think we are losing two players from that played in the semi final but then add in quinn and Tyson White who were injured that day. Thats about all that i know is happening so far.

What about Flanigan? Heard might also be a exodus from Scotch to Mitcham? T Broderick is one.

In regards to early favourites Portland finished 3rd and with the information people have at the moment and going on last years form u blokes have inherited the fav tag along with Flinders. Understand u dont want extra pressure and distractions put on yourselfs but if happens every year on here. Ive noticed in years gone some portland posters have played some great mind games and pilled the pressure on teams.

No point fighting it, thrive on it.

not saying he is a tard or anything like that. just saying it is obvious that he is throwing attention away from portland. a good move im thinking but hardly likely to fool anyone

Speaking to a little "birdy" down at SMOSH West Lakes on the weekend and could the name W. Tredrea, be wearing a "Lions" jumper in the C Grade at some stage during 2011. One wonders how long it will be before he is asked to play those 4 or so A Grade games to make him eligible for Finals, in much the same manner as Ricciuto played for Prince Alfred. Good move by the "Lions" and good for the young players who manage to play with him, if they can pull this coup off

I dont think they'll be that strong. From what i've heard, they lost a number of good foodballers last year to Unley and their performance in 2010 wasnt good. Unless their VP's start writing cheques, or they get a hold of a good number of kids out of school (both very possible), I wouldnt consider them a huge threat come finals

They have some good young players but alot of whether they will be succesful hinges on keeping all their big blokes on the deck. They pushed a lot of sides this year but in the end body size tended to see them pushed aside late.

Keep the dumber lines for yourself.
Some sides get talked up that much they believe in what they read on forums like this.
When the pressures on, their actions unfortunately can't match what comes out their mouth.
Actions speak louder than words.
It does for some clubs.
