just another question too, if salis nth are paying their players a heap of cash, why are so many leaving to play for so called big dollars?
if i was already earning massive money in the city, why give that up to go to the country leagues for money????
are salis nth really paying the big money that some people are saying?
Bird one thing for sure is that people could argue black and blue about the money factor in footy these days. I suggest half the things written on here are unture or simply players blowing there own trumpet, Not for one minute do i think clubs don't pay players money but i find it hard to relate to the amounts players are said to be getting. I for one think in the SAAFL players shouldn't be paid anymore than $200-$300 a game even that is good money. Players playing for anymore than that are playing for the wrong reasons in my eyes. Lets be honest if your not striving to play at the higest level possible why should you be rewarded with money in the lower leagues.
As for the points system i honestly think there has to be some kind of rule that clubs losing players in groups in a year have to somehow be rewarded more points. If they don't i think we will find clubs going down divisions in a hurry. Im not sure that a good thing for the SAAFL itself. Is anyone aware how many points each clubs gets?[/quote]
I reckon it's 15 points
