Couldn't they wait another 10 or so overs?

Probably not, I know it's not allowed where you play with all the camera's around etc.

My point exactly. He had his crack and he is now just keen to play with his mates. Nothing wrong with Rogers going back out now. Its his turn to have a crack.

Dont get me wrong i have no issue with players having a few drinks geez i played 2 years out at Playford, my point was more aimed at they sent the young lads out to do a very very very tough job only to protect themselves, i thought they should have stood up and protected the younger lads.

Knappy 16  wow i thought he was more like 18-20, there you go.

Alex did seem like a very quiet lad and it probably does cost him a bowl as there were other players running around asking for a bowl. Seemed like a really good kid and showed a heap of potential with the bat, would be sad to see him leave the game.

Looking at the line-up they probably were out of options, only Ken or Lowie could've gone ahead of him, Ken doesn't drink so he wouldn't have been on the gas, Lowie kept for the first time in a few years so he would've been feeling it too. Too many kids in the team.

There is nothing wrong with it but, to ring up a week before the first game and say he has had enough and then 5 weeks later say he has had enough again, makes blokes on here question his credibility. Maybe if he finished the year he wouldnt look like a bad sportsmen.

Big game this week in Div3 with the only two undefeated sides left Eastern Park playing against Central United at Dwight Reserve. Whoever wins will head into the one dayers with the perfect 4-0 record and will sit a game clear top of the table.

Will be intersting to see our side this week with a few ins and outs expected. Also CU's round 3 side hads about 6 changes from its round 2 side so not to sure of what to expect from them.

what are the rules with clearances??? I've had one signed by my previous club but don't even know if i will be able to take to the field this season. If i get the all clear from the doc i'd like to have a hit somewhere but will they allow a transfer at any point with the clearance being signed before any cut-off date?

As long as you haven't played a game this season at your former club there's no deadline. Are you looking for a clearance from where you went to?

Cool... I've got a clearance form that has been signed by my old club. Don't even know if i will even get on the field this year but if I do I just wanted to know if I actually need to lodge a form with the PDCA before a certain date.

What has Reeves or Huitema done so far? Plenty to prove still And the bloke who pushes off the side screen played grade 2 last week...
