Good win by the Hawks, Melbourne still winless.

Melbourne, for some reason, decided to go ridiculously tall with their roster this year, and are paying the price. While it's handy to have some big, broad timber on court, at present, they are playing like a bad Frankenstein movie, with a lot of aimless movement and slow reactions. There is barely any pace in the group, in terms of quick, blistering, burst pace like Gary Ervin, Gabe Freeman or Avinde Ubaka to blow a game apart with five minutes of inspired unpredictability. The Tigers would really need to find something quickly here or watch the season disappear.

The Kings have lost young PG Luke Cooper to injury for the next three months and have signed former Boomer Luke Kendall & former Wildcats development player Joel Wagner.

Also Breakers star Kirk Penney will miss this Friday's game against the 36ers and Sunday's game against the Wildcats to attend his brother's wedding in Italy who is a professional Rugby player over there.

Don't know what was said at quarter time but the 36ers jump out of the blocks with an 8-0 run

but the 36ers need to learn how to rebound
