Hardly pointless, most clubs select teams on a Thursday night, would be nice if they could enter the teams at least during the week after the commencement of the game.

No argument with that last point however stil ldont see why it would be so necessary. Not like anyone really uses that information for any important purpose.

It's so a team (that enters results on the saturday/sunday night) can fill in all the dismissals for both sides, otherwise they have to wait until the other team has put in all their details. Bit of a waste of time IMO

Yes, very frustrating, gets annoying having to bring scorebooks into work everyday waiting for someone else to enter some details.

90% chance of rain expected tomorrow but only 5-10mm with the heaviest of it coming at around 9am.

Upside is 20k winds so hopefully it blows straight over quickly, if not im sure the grounds should dry up reasonably well in time.

Each to their own though, I think Smithfield will win more one-dayers than they'll lose and I think they'll start posting some decent totals now that they've got Rosies and Westies out of the way in the longer version game.

You have to bowl more than 2 blokes in the 1 dayers thought ;)

bateson, mosy, newman and raed. theres 4 quality bowlers. dazza in his prime would be the best bowler in the comp no doudt. you only need to look at his district and adelaide turf wickets/figures opening the bowling to see that. still as he gets a few overs under his belt wickets will come given the fact he cant train and is a little long in the tooth like myself. also given the fact we beat virginia 2 bowlers short and with 10 fielders for half the day and they beat sw outright must show we will give most teams a good run. 1 dayers suit us to a T, many aggressive batsmen. underestimate us at your perril phamtom ;) another top quality batsman and we would make finals. so catchit wot u doing next year you'd be due for a change by then, on your previous track record  come have a look at our player auction saturday night, you will be impressed and that goes for anyone else who may wish to come down for a drink, all welcome at smittys :)

Raed has a pretty handy ball that comes out.. That slower sort of spinning one, looks like he squeezes it out the side?
