Hint; he moves around a fair bit, one season he had 3 clubs.

Which brings up a new point system question if a bloke played 25 games at 7 different clubs is he worth 0 points to all of them?

HAHA the Marc Cox lineage will be chearing!
They have to be junior games.

No, if you've played 25 games, senior or junior, at a club you can go back for 0 points

might be a lot of players scrambling to sign at clubs in the next month.
i hear broadies are close to 30pts at the moment with new signings.

will clubs release players because of the new points system? cant see them playing B grade & getting paid

interesting times ahead.

I think you are out of your depth on that one "Old Boy"
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

So if these guys are A grade TTG players, where will these clubs fit them all in? I do hear Greenacres have some newfound wealth and are throwing it at players from a lot of clubs.

Looks to be a Mass exodus From strawberry north about 10 players gone to country leagues. Players seeking higher wages out in the country. Straw berry north is trying to recruit new blood, they are even offering average players big bucks at the moment.

When you lose players with the ability of Jordan & cutting im thinking salisbury North will really struggle to be a force next season. One thing they have got is the ability to throw good amounts of $$$ to players. Will be interesting to see what players they do sign and if they will fit in to the enviroment down there.

What would happen if say 17 players were to leave salisbury norths A grade this season, or for that matter any club.
Obviously recruiting would have to take place.
Does the club suffer cause they have had a walk out of players. cause they would technically only be able to import 10-12 players max before they went over the points.
Or is there a thing where you can appeal to the board or something??
get on board the thunder train!!!

Clubs can appeal to the league for extra points, but I think it's more for special circumstances. If Salisbury North recruit cash-chasers, why should the league bail them out when they go chasing elsewhere?

but what if they dont recruit money chasers? they have lost players that, like jordan and cutting, have been there for a few years and cant be replaced because of this points system. you cant say that one club is allowed to replace players lost and another one cant because of the type of player that they want to replace them with.
just another question too, if salis nth are paying their players a heap of cash, why are so many leaving to play for so called big dollars?
if i was already earning massive money in the city, why give that up to go to the country leagues for money????
are salis nth really paying the big money that some people are saying?

They have always offered average players big bucks. Hasn't got the club anywhere, it just makes the players greedier & greedier.

Bird one thing for sure is that people could argue black and blue about the money factor in footy these days. I suggest half the things written on here are unture or simply players blowing there own trumpet, Not for one minute do i think clubs don't pay players money but i find it hard to relate to the amounts players are said to be getting. I for one think in the SAAFL players shouldn't be paid anymore than $200-$300 a game even that is good money. Players playing for anymore than that are playing for the wrong reasons in my eyes. Lets be honest if your not striving to play at the higest level possible why should you be rewarded with money in the lower leagues.
As for the points system i honestly think there has to be some kind of rule that clubs losing players in groups in a year have to somehow be rewarded more points. If they don't i think we will find clubs going down divisions in a hurry. Im not sure that a good thing for the SAAFL itself. Is anyone aware how many points each clubs gets?
