Did he get a kick?
How'd he go?

Think he kicked about 40 and i reckon 8 of them were against eastern park 1 game during the year. Has as much ability as anyone but his attitude stinks

I can't see Josh Laube leaving the Rams to join the Brookers. He's a loyal club man & his family have been heavily involved for a long time.

What is happening out at Nairne usually this time of year they are talking their chances up only to ever be a middle of the road side. Are they smarter this year and know they eill be only middle of the road or are there problems out there.
Also a little birdie told me on the weekend that Birdwood may be losing a couple of their younger players to Houghton. Didnt they lose a couple to them last season

Is Rexy raiding the Roosters again? Picked up a good player in Liam Davis last year from them.

Obvoiusly you are "out of the loop" with wots happening at the rams.

They didnt spend at all last yr for obvoius reasons...

Look out for a couple of big "fish" who have signed and a couple of favourite sons who may be back in the maroon. Plus Plenty of young talent to work with.

wakefield has said every year for the past 5 years that he will leave and play somewhere else but its never eventuated. nice guy, outstanding talent and probably top 4-5 in the league but missed alot of games this year when the club needed him and wasnt a particularly good captain. however if he was ever to leave i think this would be the year.

if they loose him along with raidis and thorpe retiring and lipari also moving on could be in deeper **** than they were this year having already lost stringer, wallfried, the jacksons, guitink and ewens.

something doesnt seem right at this club.

I understand Crichton & Lipari were the only two that put up a fight against TV so 'replaceable' is a big word.
Obviously B graders won't fill the holes that the departing players leave
Ever since Karoonda syphoned Kangys they have been in trouble and if you chuck in Wakefield as an out they will be facing an uphill battle in 2011.
Now the ship might be sinking alot of clubs are trying their luck at all Kangys players.

Eastern Park / Central United / Brahma Lodge / Smithfield / Gumeracha, might be Paralowie turn next!!

maybe even hopeless valley

Anyone else heard anything about this one?

I hear there is a leadership challenge about to take place at one of the hills clubs.
A few "locals" are upset that the club who puts 100 players onto the park every saturday has ~10 who aren't true "locals".

Apparently the challenging group want to kick out all outsiders and keep it to only boys from the town playing for club.

Madness if you ask me.

The club has taken massive steps forward over the past 5 years including all the upgrade works they have done, and as I understand have done it without owing a cent. Seems big steps forward, why would you stop that? On field they came were right up there last year, with the top side moving divs, they are a real shot at winning a flag for the first time in nearly a decade.

Will be very interesting if this challenge gets up. The rival faction will kick out the outsiders, allowing their sons who are really B-graders at best the chance to play A-grade in a losing side. Will get the odd win against the likes of Callington and Sudan still, but that doesn't really count does it.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Interesting story Trader.
Kersbrook fits the bill, except they haven't got 5 teams the last couple years.
Ditto Gum.
So guess it is either Echunga or Nairne?

My Guess is Echunga, And I have heard this, except you have got it a bit wrong, The people behind this challenge are the ones that have made this progression happen over the past 5 years!
It will just be a change in board/pres! the players will not notice much change other then that!
