If the Crows proposed to field a Reserves team in the SANFL

Do you think the SANFL clubs will support the proposal?

That is, not what you think of the matter, but if the SANFL clubs would want it.

One of the worst things that could possibly happen to the SANFL.

You only need to look at the failed WAFL experiment in the 1990's or the VFL today to see how the integrity of the competition suffers, closely followed by media coverage. local club memberships and attendences.

I ask where is the next generation of Norwood, Westies, Bays, etc supporter going to come from if little Johnny sees his beloved Crows playing in the SANFL as well?

I actually like the idea, but then I have not thought it through deep enough.

The question of where would the SANFL Clubs get their future supporters from is a damn good one, I suppose it will make the clubs get out in their communities a lot more, be more active with their memberships, offer the younger ones some deals to bring them to the footy, better than they are doing now, still the overpowering thought is, if little Johnny follows the Crows and some of his favourite players have been dropped to the Crows Reserves team and the Crows are playing away, will he support them or his local SANFL team which happens to be playing against the Crows.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

Wont happen. West Coast tried it over here and Vlad Demetriou knocked it on the head and said he's happy with the current set up. It's the same as SA, so why would it be different there?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I'd expect normally none of them would, but if they had over time let the Power turn the Magpies into a reserves side in a series of steps, then they would have to let the Crows have one too.
I don't think it would be good for SANFL football.

If the spineless SANFL let it happen then the last one out , flick the lights off and lock the door ...... its dead ! Oh while Im at it , can anyone exsplain to me why the SANFL would want to get back into bed with a dead-head , broke mob of hob knob goblins like the SACA . I can see why SACA want footy ... $ , is Vlad really that good at Poker or what ? ?

I voted unanimous.

C'mon, lets get serious about this AFL competition.

We have too many sanfl clubs ruling our afl clubs.

Far too many hands in the pie.

It's far too political and complicated.

Give the afl licences to the alf clubs.

Fox will make afl too bloody expensive for us minor barrackers.

We will all come back to sanfl.

There is only so much money for us small people, to go around.

Will they beat centrals...?

Finally, no bye.... ;)

A Force Majeure,

Whatever that means....? ;)
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...
