A couple of quality recruits for a team that has just won the flag, Strath looking even stronger again for 2011. Any teams confirm any other signings? Mypo look to have secured a few big men and talking to another. IMO the bottom 5 sides would have to recruit BIG TIME to get into the top 5 next season. Huge distance between between finalists and bottom teams this year.

Bit harsh on Mt compass nearly made finals last year with a young group, they will be up there this year with creek and willunga at 4 and 5

What's his playing history?

Has played at west adelaide from around 1997 captained 17's gone right thru the ranks to league footy has been up and down in league and reserves for the past ten years. Very good leadership and clubman obviously as he has stuck with westies while they have been at the bottom so long, like your mate ben warren (limb). Will be a honest tough onballer/wing/hbf great to have him on board at strath if this rumour is true? With coach simmo being a ex westies coach and friends with his old man it well could be.

From the SAAFL Div 6 & 6R Forum.

Also heard that Compass have signed the new vet in Willunga who played in the WAFL last year. Not sure of the name?

Just heard today the Creek have been out shopping again!!! 8 mostly quality ins already apparently, and not using up too many points either! Could go some way to having a serious crack at Strath in 2011....
