good bunch of blokes at rose park even when their skipper asked 3 other bowlers to

clarke bowled like a machine and the spinner (sorry dont know the name) had 3 for 0
then 4 for 2 then after that well you know the rest....... maybe i might give the bowling away and learn to bat properly? also well done smithy from vista on making a ton also .

Thought we were heading for a Mathews/Malinga like 8th wicket partnership today, until someone :roll: got bowled aroud there legs and stopped the partnership on 45

yeah the ball before hitting me in the nuts did that i think! ;)

what was with there capt having 2 slips nearly all day?? i turned to gully when he put an extra slip in and said does your capt know were 3 for 220 odd! he just laughed and agreed with me.

you ever seen our deck that slow brod?????

HAHA LMAO!! i dont think anyone (except gully early) in that side needs two slips!! thats just crazy!! Mind you i generally have 2 slips, a gully, point, 2x covers and a mid off, but my bowlers are better than enfields :P 8)

Perhaps the captain is super confident in their batting and wants to chase a decent target lol!!

Cant recall it like that before, as long as it isnt lightning next week

The field surprised me a few times today, 2 slips ALL day with a ball that looked like it had been bowled on a road, and letting me get easy singles our entire partnership even though I hadnt hit one off the square all day. They were a bunch of guys that didnt look like they had much fun at all today (except when we were 1/2)

and he won the toss i guess he thought he did a good job at 1 for 0 but then at 1/170 odd i guess he made a mistake 8)

when he won toss i dropped my head and thought ohh f@#k were bowling when he said we'll have a bowl i looked him like are you serious! the only think i can think of is when he went out on the oval before we started he may of seen how long the grass was and put us in???? or he may of just f@#ked up and put us in i really dont know.........

oh man carey, 5 times ive had to re-open this thread to read you saying he won the toss and bowled! Woolcock is a good mate of mine.. needless to say ive wasted little (none) time in serving it up to him and letting everyone else know about it!! LMAO!! :lol: :twisted:

i told our boys see gully off and we should be ok at the end of the day gully gets 1 wicket and it was me :roll: i should've took my own advice lol
