Well batted today mate, left when you guys were 2-122 or there abouts, and you were making it look easy. Pity about the slowness of the outfield, because that 297 could have been 350. I actually jokingly said to Marty Ryan shortly before I left about you guys needing 300 because it will probably be cut during the week. Not far off haha.

Seems like Marty Ryan has fit in well, handy middle order batsman for ya.

Lodge A grade all out for 150-160. Angle Vale were 2-40ish when I left, swinging for everything  It was if they were trying to get the runs by the end of the day, which could have only been 15 or so overs.

Yeah the outfield was extremley slow, possibly the slowest outfield i have ever played on, really happy with the teams performace disspointed i have thrown 100's away to weeks in a row, im blaming the extra weight im carrying.

Marty is batting real well, has a good understanding of the situation and is batting accordingly, adds alot of strength to our middle order.

Mate, you are doing what every team would love of their opening batsman, getting the team off to a solid start. I'm sure that for a player like you, the 100 is just around the corner. Thought that even though young Daniel Jefferies struggled early, he showed he has improved immensly with the willow. Good to see you guys backing him in, very much a confidence player. Sad to see some of the other kids who have much more talent than the rest of us, throwing it away. Could be anything....

Yeah little DJ has a great head on his shoulders, his always working hard at training whether that be with the bat or the ball, he is now reaping the rewards, he hit 23 and we put on a 68 run partnership, every game so far he has played his role brilliantly.

Phantom,

One day i reckong Brooksey is really going to punish an attack and hit a massive 100, knowing him it will probably be in a GF or Semi and ill never hear the end of it.
