LM what sort of odds would you have him at to crack the 1000+ runs? or 600-800 runs? or 800-1000 lol?
I'll have to think about that one, I'd say he will play all season in Grade 4, there's not a lot of point in him playing Grade 2, it's a redundant grade for westies and you would think they would use it to blood the kids for Grade 1 or to get some of there first grade players back inot form.
I would think he'd score 1000 for sure, a class batsman that could still be successful in Grade 1.
I overheard a funny thing Monday night from a North Pines player, him and a mate were talking about Costanzo playing C's, one of them said it's because Westies aren't paying their A's anymore so he wasn't interested.
Had to laugh.

Masha wrote:LM, I notice Smithfields 2 opening bowlers, Bateson and Moss bowl an un-usually high amout of overs per innings? Last match it was something like 41 out of 47, before that it was 48.5 out of 70.5. Not much bowling depth at Smithfield or do you guys put faith in these 2 lads to get the job done? Not having a dig at the Panthers, but find this unusual as most teams spread out their overs, and you find on average the strike bowlers having 12-15 overs per innings. On that note, is hodgey playing this year?
(Disclaimer: Just realised that Angle Vale do the same with Carmen and Pearce...but i guess there's no-one from them to comment on that)
