The lads know where they stand in the pecking order, survival is the essence for this season. Mind you, Angle Vale and Virginia are making it bloody hard for us, we have to jag a couple of wins against the "elite" teams.

What are peoples thoughts on fielding votes? Should it feature as an association trophy, is it necessary, are clubs remembering to include them for both teams on the e-mailed scores?

Should be scrapped and replaced with a Wicket Keeper trophy ala Adelaide Turf. A much better idea in my opinion.

Spot on, waste of a trophy...
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

I think its the least the captains can do, write fielding votes in the book, especially considering they dont need to do match reports anymore. getting off very lightly these days I reckon. :)

The last thing the captain needs to worry about is fielding votes, maybe a trophy for the best under 21 playing? and like oz said best keeper..
