They've done their time in A Grade... rather play for the fun of it in the two's, than take it super serious in the A's I guess.

The standard of cricket in this town has dropped dramatically. It is now on a par with Tumby

Overloaded, what exactly do you want to see in country cricket?

We're four games in, and we've already had multiple hat-tricks, hundreds, fifties and five-fors...

Close games and blow outs, and already numerous stories for those involved to chat about at the bar...

I'm not having a dig mate, but what else do you want to see? :?

There seems to be a gap in cricket at the moment but when you look at the numbers
at a junior and colts level there are some vey keen and talented kids out there

They played the Jokes of the League - Media. Toddies only had 10 in the field in the A grade and won by 1 wicket with Fritz Miller only batting. Charlton all out for 60 after being about 6/17 Spog Keeley took 5.
Toddies B grade won by 4 wickets Murph made 90 for Charlton and Mitch D made 50 and MP made 60 od not out and bowled really well.
Tod River might have a full side by January.

The standard of cricket in this town is the worst in 40 years.

Media Park I dont care about 5-fers and hatricks and hundreds. Have a look at the standard that these results has been achieved against.

The gap is wider than the grand canyon KWF.

We need new covers and a machine that rolls them up automatically.

How we can allow juniors to learn cricket on that plastic lay down pitch at ravendale is a disgrace. The ball hardly gets above ankle height.

I did hear you opened the batting and top scored Media Park.
I also heard you were very unlucky copping a dubious umpiring decision. Were you out?

Ahh, first part yeah... Check the paper tomorrow... ;)

Second part... No-one ever says "yes I was plumb lbw" in B Grade cricket, but I was pretty close...

Its on again I hear the Tumby boys are busy three or four promising footballers
heading north. It will be interesting to see how many others we will lose this year.
the BIg Meeting is on this Sunday to commence the overhaul of our constitution and
bylaws make sure your club is well represented.
