Ball pitched just outside leg stump. Something I have never really understood anyway. Can someone explain why that is a law? Surely if the ball is going to hit the stumps it doesn't matter where it pitches?

Did Clarke not learn anything from the 1st innings.
This is just DUMB DUMB DUMB.
Sri Lanka were able to restrict Australia from very frequent bowling rotations, often with a slow bowler.
He's got plenty of slow bowwling options out there and hasn't tried any.

Questions

1. Why is Clarke in the (teeball) team, let alone Captain?
2. Why is our number four test batsman not getting an innings under his belt at the venue where the first test will be played?

1. Agree emphatically, hopefully Greg Chappell will sort it out, the others selectors have not so far
2. Disagree vehemently, Hussey played a chanceless innings until his disMissAL in the SA V WA 1st dig

Yes AU will
AU is ranked the number 1 ODI team at the moment
This loss is a minor hiccup
AU put up the WHITE flag by batting CLARKE in front of 8 other superior hitters in this 20/20 game

I have said for some time now
CLARKE out of the team BIRT or about 25 other domestic batsman in the team b4 him

All aus players that are probables for ashes first test should be playing shield games not mickey mouse t20's. Agreed a dozen or so bettet t20 players than clarke. Make white t20 captain
