true but to lose all of

Nelson
Thurstans
McGlone
Bode
Wark
Herring
Bowen

More than likely lose the best and fairest Giles

and possibly losing

Chambers
Evans
Kurtze
Vassall
Gum (apparently had talks with a club near the beach)
McDonald

Cant be great for the club you would think!

Can someone tell me where all these guys have gone? As I know of those who've retired... but there's a couple there where I hadn't heard of leaving... maybe my house is like living under a rock.

It is a nice view down at Christies, always plenty of room in the cap if the club did feel that he could be worth pursuing. :-bd

As opposed to shovelling dog sh1t off the current playing surface for training and matches?

Now that's unfair. We don't have a 80kmh continuous gale across the ground to do our cleaning for us.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Whoops! Am I in the wrong thread? I thought this was about Sturt imploding (which I think they may be)... Fortunately we have a great number of young stars to call upon. Hope Norman doesn't drive them away...

Evans signed on dotted line yesterday ... not sure if its a case of so called imploding or guys looking elsewhere for opportunities (or $$'s). Great to have Craig stay in the double blues for a while longer.

A sturt fan trying to get a "Sturt-imploding" discussion back on thread. Now I've seen everything.

I'd love to know where this feeling of "Normo driving people away" is coming from.

There's been a few blokes retiring, it's hardly a case of the place falling apart and all those players are running off to other clubs etc.

According to that article, there's three surprises. The only one's I didn't expect were Wark and Herring. It's only the latter that's buggering off.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

So if Evans, McDonald, Kurtze & Gum have all signed or have announced that they will sign does it still qualify as an implosion?
