is this Justin Calderbank? He is going to PFC to coach the A-Grade.

Correct - and good luck to them and their kick-in Huddle!

Does this signal the return of the Spearhead?

Strongly suggested the 4 Lofty boys are splitting in to two pairs of recruits for a couple of seperate clubs, due to most leagues having a point system!

Another question posed;
Have clubs been able to maintain there list from this year? With several clubs picking up recruits, name players for big money or so we hear, are these clubs managing to keep them plus add to their list.
Uri - Obviously have most of their gun players as locals now, having been there for a while, Eberts etc. No talk of recruits.
Mt.B - Fisher and Block have re-signed, and everyone else is happy with that, senior colts are doing pre-season already to get themselves a game aparently. No talk of other recruits yet but talking to players on fringe of SANFL/Reserves squads etc.
Woods - With the reigning mail medallist in doubt and talk of Dundovic (Yank) coming through.
Onka - Not much talk about them at all.
Mt.L - Talk of 4 quality players leaving. That will hurt their finals chances.
Hah - List getting a bit old. Not much in the way of money either so the rumor mill states.
IB - Exepensive recruits this year, have they held them? Talk of others already signed?
Bri - Appears all players are back on board, any news on recruits?
Lob - Anyone with anything about Lobey? They will need 3+ recruits to win 5 games this year, they are going backwards IMO.
TV - The unknown. Players confirmed as leaving and with money comes recruits/coach.

Any ideas, I beleieve the reason Uri beat us in the GF was because they had 26-28 A Graders, whereas we have 18 at best. A couple of injuries and you are only as good as your weakest link. I believe clubs need to retain their list plus add to it year after year to be continually successful. Teams for the year 2011, early I know, Mt Barker, Uraidla, Ironbank and Onka Valley.

I have heard that Tom Clarke from Lob is returning to Ports in the S.G.L, not sure how well Tom did in the Central League this year.

looking at the new point systme there still seems to be plenty of room for recruting. Mt barker will lose a few points for block and fisher and maybe only have a couple other points. lofty are in a similar boat and would have plenty of points up their sleeve as well, and looking at uraidlas list they had no recruits last yr which would leave them with plenty as well. is this going to make it just as hard for the lower ranked sides to catch up?

It is very well to keep a lid on things, however you are one to normally talk your chances up. Several clubs are posting some likely or signed recruits and Bridgewater have nothing. Or am I wrong?

You'll be fighting with Lobethal for the coveted wooden spoon V-Man, i would say dark times ahead for the Raiders however this is what you are used to. take that "intel" to the high level management meeting, then pop a cork in it!

Weren't there 7 or 8 leaving Lofty ? Then "the four" decided to stay .
I would say that maybe 2 others maybe off to another club.
Rumour only : was Racer Meehta was considering a move , but i have know idea who told me that - so could quite possibly wrong.

Well if that is your defensive shield going up Vaughan that is fine, I don't think I have posted much that has been confirmed as being false or misleading that is all. And we were beaten by Uraidla who were the best, end of story. I just thought I would put a summary up of what readers have written and you come out with that, I guess you really do not have much at all!

I find it humorous that the majority of posters on this forum, in particular "Lebron", think that Vaughn is a legitmate Bridgewater supporter. But seriously have heard Bridgewater have signed utility defender Greg Ant from Cove Cobras.

I just asked for other peoples opinions or what they heard about their club. I think Vaughan may have some ties to Bridgewater but if he doesn't, then its just another joker on here.

Anyway.............. Are clubs maintaining the recruits from this year?
