Thinking at the time that, when someone I hardly knew contacted me out of the blue to discuss something that I knew little about was odd. Then the discussion changes tack and starts discussing a mutual friend. Nothing was said in that discussion from my part that was of issue or concern. From that time, said mutual friend starts acting really peculiar

Lessons learnt.

The promos to promote "Triple M's Number 1 draft pick Warren Tredrea joining the big breakfast from November 1" Think I heard it mentioned 4 times in about 10 minutes this morning before I left for work, thought as it got closer to the day they may have eased off but i think they have done the opposite.

When the kid is there, struggling to breath properly, wheezing like no tomorrow they are not "happy wheezers" ffs...

Nurse "Doubt you will be going home tonight"

'Doctor' "She doesnt sound too bad, will check her in x hours and you should be right to go home"

More senior Doctor comes over and after the examination says, "You wont be going home for at least tonight".......

Been through all that myself over the years.

My son clearly had asthma from just about birth - and there is clear family history of it.
However
The don't/wont 'diagnose' it as asthma until after they are 2 years old.
(Well back then - not sure what they do now)

So we suffered through with 'non-existant' asthma until after he turned 2 - and guess what once he turned 2 they told us he had asthma!

Roadwork signs that get left out despite there being no evidence of roadworks. The ones that have a reduced speed limit. There's two on the northern expressway that have been there for a few weeks now, are they a trap??

Possibly.
The speed restriction probably stands while the signs are there regardless of whether there are no workers within coo-ee.
A new technique for raising revenue without the expense of actual roadworks?
Watch for the School Zone signs nowhere near a school next!

A Son posted on facebook how annoyed he is at the fact that it's sunny all week and now raining in time for bowls on the weekend.
