As for Myles Sewell I would think he would get picked up in the Draft for sure

No surprise to see that.

Came over to the Eagles with a fairly big reputation,

from an outside point of view he seemed to be the whipping boy at the Eagles.

Never really lived up to expectation.

I'm surprised he didn't do better, he played some very good footy for Geelong in the VFL.

I may be proved wrong with improved performances elsewhere, but I'm not disappointed about Andy Lee leaving the Parade.

Just hope we can develop and recruit some forwards for 2011.

he was a big whipping boy when ron coached him. except for a game at Noarlunga against south.Started off the year well but was injured and never really hit the highs again .Did play 1 good finals game this year.

My mail is (nothing official) he was on a very good wicket .Some may say a very large amount has just been freed up .

Good and bad news here, glad to see Trent plans to go on, with a modified program he will be valuable and he loves the club so just the kind of guy you want around.

Sad to see cheepy go, had a great game at Unley in round 3 or 4 and got injured the same day, really struggled after that and had a few blokes jump ahead of him for his spot but he kept plugging away in the 2's and got his opportunity and played 3 solid finals games.
Trust the process.

Great news about Hentscel

Bit disappointing about Cheep. Over the two years he probably didn't show what we were hoping for. However, towards the end of this season him and Rimmington worked out a style/pattern of play that added something that was missing plus a bit of pace and controlled aggression.

I dont understand where this "fairly big reputation" came from. His form at the eagles was very similar to his form at the VFL cats. An occassional good game, games with a good quarter or two and games where he wasn't seen. Seems fairly normal for a forward pocket/flanker player.

I'm told by a normally reliable source with inside information at Centrals that this is an absolute done deal...they spoke to a certain someone high up at Centrals during the recent B&F count who said its a done deal...

And i'll expand on that "players from Melbourne" rumour at a later date...I'm not sure yet on their names or if they've signed for next year or if they're just preseason try outs...need confirmation on this one anyone...

I thought he was a good player, always played well against North, seemed to know how to get under some of the player's skins.

No great loss at all and as mentioned, the $$ saved will be useful putting towards another recruit. In his two seasons Cheep probably played about 3-4 very very good games. However every other game was dreadful. He really needed to find some consistency. I also think he struggled with the speed of the SANFL. His lack of awareness made him particularly vulnerable to getting caught holding the ball at crucial times.

but i was reliably informed last night my favourite opposition player  Jace Bode from sturt has left them and wont be playing in 2011.

Another player who is out from Sturt is Wark, my mate goes to Uni with him and due to uni commitments he wont be playing football for Sturt in 2011.

Yes it has already been mentioned at least once.

I've been led to believe that Nick Wark won't be playing next year, he's concentrating on his studies.
