They have enough good players to be very competitive, injuries may be hard to cover though... I think they will win around 8 games but will get spanked a couple of times as well.

I reckon 3 wins at best and they'll all be at home. I can't see them winning on the road at this stage.

Hard to tell at this stage. The signings look to offer good rebound so far on the defensive lines and Ablett will always be hard to hold (although strongly suspect he will come right back to the pack without anywhere near as many AFL-seasoned bodies to protect him). The thing that really stands out early, is a lack of established goalkicking power. Brown may go forward and boot a few, but of their squad so far, they will need to find a fair few wildcards among the kids to kick enough winning scores. Some more to come through the draft, with possibly two established delisted players in their picks.

Will knock off a couple of top six teams through a combination of emotion and catching opponents napping, but nine wins at best.

5-8 games would be realistic given their lack of forwards

I think port won 10 in there first season, but had a better crop to pick players from (SANFL).
However Ports Marque player was Wangerneen (who is an outstanding player), but the GC's is Ablett (Gun) and throw in there massive draft picks and there ability to rape and pillage. Well you would think they should be able to at least replicate what Port did in there first season with there above advantage.
However unlike Port or Freo for that matter they will have depth issues.

I think they'll be around the 5 win mark and finish close to the bottom of the Ladder.
I really can't see Ablett being anything special without a support cast to help, he'll attract the main stopper and the players around him aren't going to carry the team.
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

I went 6. As Valleys said, anywhere between 5-8 would be realistic I reckon.
