Lacking a quick bowler is a def but our focus is every week as it comes and going from there. Fineleg keep trying to play it up you told us before the season began you were favourites to beat us. We always like the underdog tag. Unlike you we are a bit more conservative about our approach to the game. Catchit Dobbo will be there next season amongst a few more, would be a cracker game if it happens.

true saturday shouldnt be a major problem

BUT

friday there looks to be lots of rain about so some games may struggle to even get on the field.

A ground like Eastern Park you dont need to much rain the night before for it to be a struggle to get the pitch ready.

14 to win, a day one win wasn't out of the question, 3 points gone begging if the weather was to be an issue.

How is Eastern Park's ground any more difficult to roll out the fake grass and tent peg it down? The pitch has been ready since they poured the slab 30 years ago! ;)
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Brahma once batted all day on a sat in a semi knowing the sunday was going to be 47 degrees, so the only thing that suprises me about this 69 over thing is it wasnt 60 overs ;)
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

Nah should be ok, only a few showers Friday and Sat. It's only hard wicket cricket, just let the cricket roll on.

30-40mm friday a few showers? :? Would want to hope the rain comes in early and passes before too late Friday night/Early Sat morn give grounds a chance to drain etc.

Come on PG, where's the positive thinking?

Let's just hope the rain passes down south and we are good to go Saturday.
