just heard on the grape vine mannum have sacked there coach on saturday,is this correct?

I have no inside information whatsoever. I immediately thought of the Karoonda coach when i heard it (he's applied there in the past i believe), but thinking about it now, given the record of the current BDT coach, perhaps he's a target as well.

Hawkes- Shaun Walker, makes sense, good player

Magpies- Corey Smelt, lives close & has gone 4 it b4

Crows- Former Keith coach Butler, who has a pretty handy record

Don't think we need to worry about this anyway. My mail is out of Rooland "utter crap, coach is staying put". Time will tell!

There are a lot of clubs in the RMFL that would like to be in their position. Yes they spent a lot of money but they posted a profit this year and the club is booming off field. Better than a few years ago when they were near bottom of the ladder with no one going to games and losing money at the same time. Obviously you don't want to lose GF's but atleast they are around the mark and will be again in 2011.

Can say our club approached Mannum coach to coach our A grade 2011 & can confirm he has signed with Mannum for 2011 & 2012
