So Smithfield were on the chirp after being knocked over for a hundred ?

The outfield was slow as, you've gotta understand that they copped a fair bit of stick while they were batting and Rosies were 2/3 til Stamma and Brooksey steadied the ship. 2/31 off of 19 overs at stumps, the game is still heavily weighted in favour of Rosies, another late wicket would've been handy.
Good to hear some of the talk after the days play between the players from each club, I took off early, I'll have to stick around for a quencher this week.

 game wide open, game man to pick a winner from here, but an upset def on the cards! If SW lose and R&C win, will make a serious log jam on the ladder with PG the only side winless and BL the only side undefeated!

109 was the highest Grade 1 total for Saturday, I'd be guessing that all grounds have some pretty lush outfields atm. There seems to be no shortage of quality bowlers getting about though.

PG was quite quick actually, but i've never played there before so couldnt tell you if that was normal or not!

Great bowling effort by Virginia, you would hope their batters could now finish off their hard work! Or is it the same people ;)

If it is going to be 2 full days, then OTH are bargains at that price. However, a one day game will be much different.

If I was a gambling man, I would have SW, rolled into R&C, and OTH (favourites), as well as a washout first day and Brown to lead runs and Sibbick wickets for the Lodge vs PG. Odds LM?

Not far off the mark hey Masha?

Well done mate, there's only ten good balls in an innings and you bowled 5 of them.

Thats normally correct for higher divs LM but in grade 8 its the good balls that get dispatched and the bad balls that get wickets  Although it does help when outfielders are taking one handers leaning over the boundary line right EM.

You are a lot better at this gambling thing than I thought. If you were a bookie you'd be nervous with the SW vs Virginia game at those odds. Wonder if any of the Virginian's put their vegie patches on this game at $4.50?

Great, more rubbish for Payney to talk about. ;)

Sounds like he is in pretty good form with the willow though, back to back 50's.

I just take a lot of notice of what goes on and listen to feedback from those I think have an idea. It tightens the competition up though, I still think that we'd be 7th favourite, we just want to jag enough wins to stay up...........legitimately.
