Shocking loss to today for the Roo's.

Morialta batted first and made 133 or there abouts. Big Bryce taking a couple wickets and myself (opened the bowling  ), m frith, clarkson and eddie grabbing singles. We should've had them out for under 100 but i think 7 or 8 dropped catches really hurt us.

We ended up making 100 roughly I think. No major scorers, alot of stupid shots and thinking we had the game in the bag cost us victory. Also, 1 of their bowlers ripped through our middle order taking 5/13.

We were without Barnes and Holland, so it was a very young outfit with Bryce and Eddie the only elder statesmen in the team.

Still, it's only round 2 and im fairly sure teams will still be shaking off the cobwebs so not alot to read into form wise I think.

That's great news for the competition that Enfield Bs finally got a win - maybe it was my "advice" that got them fired up this week. :)
What happened to Para Vista Bs, typewriter?

We (Adelaide Lutheran Bs) had another good win over Morialta Bs at Morialta. With a similar team to last week, we managed to just bat out our 40 overs, making 106 and in reply Morialta was bowled out for 90. We had them at 9/about 75 but then seemed to take forever to get the last wicket. Getting Kinsman out for a duck (caught behind off Ridley) was an important early wicket.

It was the second lowest total our club has ever defended to win a game, and the lowest ever total our 2nd XI has defended to win a game (previous lowest 140 against NE Knights Bs in 2006/07)
