Any word on who will be coaching Maccy in 2011??

I notice former TV player Luke Slattery finished 3rd in Ports b&f. A good effort considering he missed a few too. In my opinion would be a star if played in a better side. Probably the best player i have seen in country footy for some time apart for those central div players they are much better

You mean like Adam Fisher who WON the league Best and Fairestfor Glenelg in 2009 in a side who finished TOP at the end of the minor round as opposed to second bottom. You mean blokes like that?

Yeah i see where you're coming from there BP but if it's a real match winner with all the skills who can play any position on the field then Slattery is your man. On a side note just read A Jarman romoured to coach TV next year you have to laugh. Gary you are incredible

I didnt think Callington could go any lower but to appoint Mitchell as coach i think they have now hit rock bottom. This bloke has a great record in the hills didnt he coach Maccy to about 2nd bottom with alot more talent in the club than Callington. Also all the young small players in the comp look out he will try and hit you behind play (lucky he can not fight). My prediction now is that he wont last the season out.

I doubt Gav would have much luck recruiting from Reynella. He has been away from the club for a long time and rarely seen. I reckon there are only three or four blokes still playing who were around when he was at the club. I am not sure the rest of the senior squad would know much about him.[/quote

Recruiter 10 you have a massive opinion on coaches!! Why is it that you dont have a crack at coaching yourself if you are such an expert??? ANSWER = You are possibly the worst umpire to ever grace a ground is S.A. therefore as a coach you would be an even bigger dud than you are as an umpire.

Just when we thought Callington couldn't get any worse. It's a worry there isn't one single footyhead on their committee with enough nouse and experience to know this bloke's history. No wonder they're struggling.

I've heard on the grapevine Birdwood are still pushing to stay in Central Div. If this is true there will be a lot of clubs in the Hills League ready to strangle them. If the League buckles and pushes for more meetings and votes then I'm sure Birdwood would be the most hated club in the Hills. Put it to bed Birdwood and accept Country Div... I actually rate it as a good competition having played in it in recent years.

Those comments must/will continue to hurt Country Div until it is sorted, the HFL big boys need to move those 2 sides to C grade for a while!
