Waveman by Rob Redenbach
I could not put this book down I started reading it and it goes through his life journey in martial arts, and in the army and his development of Kombat. His program of unarmed combat.

The first four pages are a shocking read....his father being murdered in the hotel room as a young Schwarz slept in another bed in the room.

I havnen't seen this movie yet - only because I'm aware it's the only known movie in the world to make every bloke that's seen it (that I know of) cry.

So if big tough men are reduced to tears I've got no hope

I Came to Say Goodbye - Caroline Overington

I'll be reviewing this one on the radio in a couple of weeks' time. I guarantee that anyone who reads this book will not forget it.

Working through a few John Wyndham books ATM. 'Trouble With Lichen' was OK but am loving 'The Midwich Cuckoos', which most of you would probably recognise by its filmed title...

"The Complete Idiot's Guide to the New World Order"
Be warned: If you read this on public transport, you will get complete idiots coming up to you and saying that JFK was killed by the Lizard people ie, George Bush and the Queen
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

"A Man's Gotta Have a Hobby" - William McInnes (the actor, known for Blue Heelers and the title role in "Curtin", the profile of the PM)

One of the single funniest books I have ever read in my life :D . Fantastic ability to spin a yarn, the story is about his childhood with his family in Redcliffe, QLD. His father has some great quirks and sayings. This one has left me with tears of laughter many, many times.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...
