Dont tell lies WUD12, our A Grade played section 2 back in 1967 in its third year after starting in section 4 winning that, going to section 3 next year and winning that, then we WERE in section 2 for 1 year and won that.

But since plymptons third year of existance, no we havent.

If plympton ever won another section 2 flag as an A Grade i'd do a big wee in the premiership cup, coz it would be a disgrace.

Correct, and on the Sunday morning as well, and during the drinks break, beaten by a better side.

you shouldve won, it was your A grade.. you seed!! which i recall you asked to go down because you were to rubbish to stay in section 1!!!
let me think, how many times has plymptons "A" grade played in section 2.... ummmmmmmmmmm never!!!

Get your facts right we never asked to go down, we sent a letter to the association asking to stay up.

Dear Plympton fruitcakes;

1.We never asked to go down, we were relegated fair & square: FACT
2.We did what we needed & beat EVERYONE in section 2 to be promoted again: FACT
3.We did not use tactics in the GF like manhandling batsmen when running between wickets: FACT
4.We did not need to poach one S.Pitt so we could win a premiership: FACT
5.We will let G.Hardy know of your concerns, and i am sure he will be on your doorstep 9am Monday: FICTION
6.Your oval could be handled by Les Burdett & you would still complain: MY STRONG OPINION

By saying winning section 2 by having our A grade beat your B grade is like saying teams relegated in Amatuer footy should win the premiership in the lower grade, or have Plympton never been relegated in footy either

someone was telling me porky's then... which i doubt...
would not complain bout the oval if it was properly managed, we also know our oval has the MOST traffic then any other oval in the area... All we ask for is proper care from the council...
so you did cut the oval over night???? you never awnsered that question
also we got relegated in footy, but we play in a far better association then you guys... SFL is a vey ordinary comp... top 4 to 5 sides are really good (d2 - d3 saafl quality) and the rest are average or poor i.e you guys...

No,we did not cut the oval overnight.
Anybody who thinks a council worker would come out and mow ANY oval, median strip or patch of grass on a Saturday night has rocks in their head.

Spoken to Geoff Hardy today.
He has not bee in charge of oval management for 5 weeks.
The man in charge is one D. Harris.

Apologies will be accepted below:

Someone DID tell you porky's, whether you doubt it or not. As to relegation, you missed the point (unsurprisingly). Just a small reminder to you boys as well, the last time we did play your A grade in a grand final it was at the same ground with the same result. Jabber might have to go back as far as 1967 to find a time when you blokes did beat us in a GF.

Plympton not good at all .

You can thank Morphies mate and club legend Geoff Hardy for that, spends bugger all time on Plympton oval, if he and his crew of donkeys where to do something about the build up of sand etc around the pitch im sure we would be playing. So if you wanna say its no good, speak to him about it and mention that we(Plympton) are sick of talking to him to undertake various tasks to the oval only to be showen the door....

Actually just goes to show how much he actually does know when last season he spread 10 tonnes of MULCH on the oval. Did sand cost to much to top dress last season r was it all used at Morphies Oval?????

We didn't play cause the mat was wet, not because of the sand around the pitch.

To the WYC boys, what is the reason behind the delay of the t20 match v's the roo's. Was looking forward to actually watching a game after our bad luck in drawing south road no-shows the last two years. Hope it isn't to deliver more phone books. :)
