*Jervois-Ladhams deal is done!!!!!!!*

Ladhams, Ladhams, Coulter, White for sure & Possibly Hargraves.

I think that would be all their points used. Very useful additions, but have heard that it hasn't come cheaply.

Quite a loss after what Lofty did to get him back from Am League. Huge inclusions, should make a world of difference.

ITs a seven team competition and if your spending money every year your gonna win a flag or two unless your meningie. Lets be honest imps with the teams they have had shouldve one more flags than the couple they got! I cant believe he coached the B grade this year! Is he that good in his mind that he doesnt need help? Does no one want to work with him? Are imps spending all there money on players and cant afford coaches? Will imps. look around this year for other options?

Imps havent been as succesful as they have wanted to but. Mannum have also spent alot of $$ and have a very good coach an havent got the premiership when they should of, but i am not hear to bag coaches out because it would be the hardest job, i have been a player at imps thru Tony and before him aswel, and i will say he is the best coach i have had, i played a few A grade games under him and last year as a B grader under him.
Imperials have all coaching postions open for people to apply to, no one is appointed UNTILL everyone is looked at.
Tony fits the build imperials are looking for, we havent gorn out an recruited heavily, we have players coming to the club to play with mates. They are throwing $$ around but not the amounts that have been mentioned, highest payed player is $500 and not mentioning the name but only had to pay that amount about 6 times this season due to them not playing.
The reason Tony coaches A grade and B grade is because then he can help people get into the A grade squad.
The 2 teams train together on tuesdays an on thursdays he then gets 22 A graders and David Schncher takes the B graders, with this he can then monitor both teams and work out who is the best fit, witht his he can help the younger guys in b grade improve there skills to get to A grade.
The Avg Age in the Imperials Reserves is around 22,
Avg Age in Imperials A Grade is around 24-25

kenny brothers, have they signed on for next year?

Pretty sure Hargy plans to stay at Nhill, but wouldn't rule him out as the season nears though.

Why would Imps be looking for a new coach when they had the best coaching panel going around. Everytime we played them they were smarter then us. Why do they think somebody would be more successful. They would have won this years Grandfinal had injuries not gone against them. With David Shenscher retiring & Mypo chasing Damien Garrett Imps might be in a bit of trouble if they go for a different coach.

Wow, that's some good news for the Bluds.
These blokes hang around for a bit, the Bluds recoup some points and top up in coming years, they will be on the rght path.

Seems like our boys at Tailem are looking to doing the same, if any luck these rumors are true. Going to take some smart decisons, wise heads and, let's face it, alot of money, for both clubs to compete with the Murray Bridge clubs, but good luck to us and our rivals across the river.

He won't drive all that way and back by himself, he hates his own company! Might have an ex North player for a passenger.

Not sure if his name has been mentioned already but have heard a whisper that Shane Collins will be the coach of Imps next year.

From Onka Valley and ex Norwood junior who was struck down in his prime by serious knee injuries. Coached Onkas juniors and A's for several years and has been at North Adelaide as some sort of assistant under Jars and Healy i believe. Would be a good fit for Imps very professional and does have connections to quality players.

What will now happen at imps with players like girdam, Kenny, fitzgerald, tyler?? Does anyone know if there boys will be staying ? If burger an Tyler leave an the rest stay I think imps would be using 2 points(I think)

Tony Fielke's coaching career at imperials-
A Grade- 2002-2010. 6 grand finals 2 premierships, one as player coach.
Lowest finish 4th
Reserves 2009-2010. 2 grand finals 2 premierships

there will be a tea organized by club to farewell Tony as he has put imperials up there as one of the consistant power house teams in south aust. Country footy
Good luck in the future Tony

Had the Kaniva job but they reniged. Spoke with someone in the "know" and he confirmed your Jervois story but Hargs is not in the frame. Be interesting with Coulter & White fronting up at Mypo since they played there only a year ago and bailed out after 1 season.
Could be some interesting sideline banter forthcoming.

Yeh Goldberg well done! I do believe i posted about Ladhams weeks ago but you can take my mail if you like. However Jervois did have second thoughts over Ladhams and called a crisis meeting about there appointment. They got info that Ladhams brother cant play! just talk. and heard stories from Kaniva. Really they should have done there homework before the appointment not after. Onto Imperials now. Fielke did Coach two flags but should have won more with the teams he had . I know i am repeating myself but with the money Imps spent they should have more. people keep saying that there highest paid player was 500 a game, but they were paying quiet a lot of players hundreds a game. I can tell you that the highest paid player at the Bluds when they won four flags was 350 a game. so buy that theory Fielke failed . Not hard to finish top four in seven team comp when your team is located in the biggest town in the comp. sponsors players etc. Good luck to Fielke but maybe his next job he wont get as much of an armchair ride!
