Having a God complex, and doing all the work myself.

Really rooted my back today.

Am in pain...

The $286 phone bill I just got :( - mainly due to SAAFL grand final day and sending quarter by quarter scores to about 30 people.

Next year you can all find out your own bloody scores, I'm too poor to do this shit :?

FC use Skype for that...can get it for mobiles now.

It's almost free...I can send scores to people in Australia for about 5 pence a time. Only downside is they need to arrange it in advance cos on the pc I can't receive texts unless they have Skype on their phone and can IM.

Dutchy you have it wrong, 6am flights are the best as now you have the whole day to do whatever. Unless of course that means more flying.

I'm guessing 'having the whole day to do whatever' is work in Dutchy's case....lol.

I'm with Dutchy.
I refuse to even try - last time I was needed to give evidence in court in Qld I told them they'd have to fly me up the evening before.
I'm having trouble even getting out of bed before 8.30am, since DST started.

I can't ever afford one now, as it would no longer be tax deductible. Maybe a small Chopper... ;)

That's one reason I moved back to Adelaide in my retirement.
Here, close to the CBD, I can economise on such expenses and afford to live on my meagre share dividends and bank interest.
[About $44K this financial year. I need interest rates to go up. :( ]

Psyber, how many people do you think would be gathering such "meagre" returns on their interest and dividends?

Many people work 40+ per week in demanding positions* and earn that or less.

Demanding = could be manual labour, high pressure semi-skilled work etc etc.

Angus getting sick the day we're meant to be going away. I want him to be able to enjoy himself on holiday, poor kiddo! :( I'm pumping him full of water and Vegemite toast in the hope that he'll feel better soon.

S*** yeah! My scholarship is about $22K a year, then there's the paltry amounts I get on the occasion I manage to get something published... I think Mr McSpaz makes about $43-44K a year but once you factor in our kids, the rent and the bloody gas-guzzler - I'm never buying a car with a six-cylinder engine again, by the way - it doesn't go a long way.
