Podsiadly and Mooney the "go to" forwards. Not anymore.Podsiadly out of the square perhaps, Mooney might not be in at all if the new coach decides the time is right for a generational change.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

On paper that 22 might look like it will still be a force but on reputation only.

Mooney, Jpod, Ling, Corey, Scarlett, Milburn, Ottens best footy are behind them. Expect a a couple of mid season retirements from that list.

Also when Geelong needed a few of their 'fringe" players to step up it looked like they perhaps arent quite at the level we thought: Hunt, Stokes, Byrnes, Taylor, Mackie, Lonergan, gamble.

So out of that 22 IMO only 6: Johnson, Chapman, Kelly, Enright, Selwood & Bartel would be a walk up start in any team in the comp. That 6 is still the equal of any top 6 for any team in the comp but Geelong drop away pretty heavily after that IMHO.

If everything is kind to them they might still get another prelim out of this lot but 5-8 I think is the most likely outcome for Geelong in 2011. And if they have a bad run with injuries to their main guys then missing the 8 altogether certainly isnt out of the question.

Not too sure I agree with you on that one.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I was under the impression that Hinkley was the front runner.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
